Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the SBU; The appointed staff member is required to work in the following areas, A) Provide the daily support and perform administrative works for AMS. The duties include, but not limited to, provide system support and helpdesk services; install and configure common office software, operating system, network equipment and other solutions; advise users on IT best practice; implement common office IT systems, security safeguards and solutions; and complete any office task assigned by users. B) Maintain the membership management system (AMACS) and carry out the change requests for AMS. The duties include, but not limited to, collect user requirements; conduct impact analysis; develop / amend the program code; system implementation and deployment; carry out unit test; assist in user acceptance test (UAT); update all the relevant system documentation and user manuals, etc. C) Assist in projects implementation. The duties include, but not limited to, collect and analyse user requirements; evaluate new IT products and technologies; prepare procurement specifications; conduct the procurement processes and prepare evaluation report with respect to the specification; assist in site preparation; monitor vendor progress; implement the project when necessary; assist in user acceptance test (UAT); prepare for equipment disposal and other follow-up jobs, etc. Types of LAN systems included, but not limited to, Departmental Portal using OSDP, e-Leave System, Windows Systems, Email Systems, Workstation Encryption System, Web Proxy System, Virtualization Systems, SSL-VPN and other GOA System Applications. Types of projects included, but not limited to, Network/LAN Systems Upgrade, Mail Systems Upgrade, Workstations Upgrade, Operating System Upgrade, Application System Implementation, IT Security Risk Assessment & Audit, etc. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 6.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements - Hands-on experience in LAN support (both server and client) is a must; - Hands-on experience in programming and database administration with Visual Basic, C#, MS Access and MS SQL Server; - Experience in Government GOA systems including Department Portal, e-Leave and Lotus Notes Domino; - Experience in project implementation, coordination and procurement process; - Familiar with Government regulations and procedures, such as Security Regulations, Store & Procurement Regulations, SOA Bulk Contracts, etc; and - Holder of related professional qualifications, e.g. MCDBA, IBM Certified Domino Administrator, MCSE, CCNA, CISSP, is an advantage. Technical Skills: . At least 6 years' experience in Client/Server Application Development (C/S); . At least 6 years' experience in Confidential Mail System (CMS); . At least 6 years' experience in Departmental Portal (DPS); . At least 6 years' experience in Electronic Form (EFM); . At least 6 years' experience in PC LAN Support (PLS); . 3 years' experience in Reporting (Crystal Report, iReport) (REP) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Security Risk Assessment (SRA) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in SQL Server Reporting Services (SRS) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in VBA (VBA) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Visual Studio. Non-technical Skills: . Good coordination skills is a must; . At least 6 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 6 years' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD); . At least 6 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS); . At least 6 years' experience in Government tendering procedures (GTP); . At least 6 years' experience in IT procurement (PRO); . 3 years' experience in customer service (CLS) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in conducting IT training/briefing (ITT) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
