System implementation of new systems under Cultural Services of LCSD; 2. System enhancement for existing systems under Cultural Services of LCSD; 3. On-going support of the existing systems under Cultural Services of LCSD. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD; 1. Project development and system implementation including programming, performing system tests, co-ordinating UAT, system installation and configuration for system rollout, managing the performance of the outsourcing contractor and reviewing the contractor's work. 2. Support and liaison with internal users and contractors for enhancement tasks of existing systems including programming, performing SIT, UAT and coordinating the rollout tasks. 3. On-going support and maintenance of existing systems including programming, performing SIT, UAT, bug-fixing, fire-fighting and responding to users' enquiries. 4. Carrying out other duties assigned by senior officers. 5. Ad hoc support during non-office hour and mobile/pager holding may be necessary. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 5.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements 1. Degree in Computer Science / Computer Studies, or equivalent; 2. Solid experience in system development, application programming and maintenance of web-based application; 3. Solid Experience in working with outsourced contractors for system development and/or support; 4. Working experience with the Government is required; 5. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and 6. Good communication and problem-solving skills Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in SSADM (SDM); . At least 2 years' experience in J2EE Development (JDE); . 2 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Crystal Report (CRE) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in IT procurement (PRO); . At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 2 years' experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
