(T26) Application and infrastructure support for the IRD internal systems

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the IRD;
(1) Carry out development / enhancement tasks of in-house applications;
(2) Prepare and conduct various levels of testing;
(3) Check deliverables of out-sourced applications / services;
(4) Provide production support for IRD internal systems and the infrastructure;
(5) Collaborate with other internal support teams for cross-system integration;
(6) Prepare system documentation;
(7) Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.

| Requirements |
(1) Experience in JAVA and Python application development is required;
(2) Experience in administration, configuration and security management of Windows and Linux is required;
(3) It is preferable to have hands-on experience on following aspects:
(a) VB.NET application development;
(b) Splunk software administration;
(c) Database management.
(4) Working after office hours is required occasionally.
Technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in JBoss Application Server (JAS);
. At least 2 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV);
. At least 2 years' experience in J2EE Development (JDE);
. At least 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN);
. At least 2 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM);
. At least 2 years' experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS);
. At least 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS);
. At least 1 year's experience in Structured Query Language (SQL).
Non-technical Skill:
. Good written English is a must.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
