Being the Joint Management Team of this portal, we strive the best to: (a) maintain the portal to provide consistent and quality service; (b) employ the latest design and technology to improve the portal; (c) provide quality helpdesk services; and (d) gauge public feedback for improvement opportunities. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO; The Contract Analyst Programmer will be required to: 1. provide day-to-day operational and administrative support for the GovHK portal; 2. independently handle enquiries from stakeholders of the portal and provide effective and timely follow-up; 3. render support for and liaison with Government bureaux and departments for contents or services to be posted or rolled out on the portal, such as e-Card platform, multi-language platform, and online survey platform; 4. design content, maintain and update the GovHK portal by using the Web Content Management System, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects, and other related software applications; 5. assist in coordinating and execution of promotion and publicity campaigns; 6. support the development and enhancement of the GovHK portal and related initiatives, including but not limited to customer research, requirement specification, user flow design, and user acceptance test; 7. assist in providing administrative and logistics support to senior officials' engagement in IT events and activities, including event material preparation, logistics coordination and post-event publicity; and 8. carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisors. Candidate should possess experience in supporting web-based related projects or services, as well as JavaScript programming experience. 2. Candidate should possess knowledge of website design and operation. 3. Candidate should possess good communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills. 4. Candidate should possess proficiency in written English. 5. Experience in supporting promotion and publicity campaigns is an advantage. 6. Knowledge of User Experience Design is preferred. Technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in Adobe Photoshop (APH); . At least 1 year's experience in Website Administration (WEA); . At least 6 months' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . 6 months' experience in Adobe Illustrator (ADI) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in HTML5 (HT5) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . 1 year's experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT) is an advantage; . Good written English is an advantage; . Good coordination skills is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
