Job Key No 38864 Job Title/ Category Systems Specialist (Windows Server Team) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Technical Support Nature Contract Contract Period One-year contract Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business bank Location Base Ngau Tau Kok Work Outside Current Location N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time seconded to a leading bank; - Execute system-related tasks to ensure the provision of reliable and efficient computer systems supporting both application development and production environments. This includes hardware and software evaluation, planning and implementation, maintenance and support, patch and fix application, system monitoring and tuning, security baseline compliance reviews, problem resolution, and capacity planning; - Assess end-of-support hardware and software, and develop upgrade or replacement plans accordingly; - Provide technical support and expert advice to application development teams, operations staff, IT management, and other relevant stakeholders; - Report the progress of system activities and project implementations to the supervisor; - Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory; - Assist the supervisor in optimizing operational procedures in alignment with IT Department policies, standards, and guidelines; - Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises and drills; - Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements - Degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology; - Preferably over 3 years of professional experience in IT, preferably within the banking or finance sector; - Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure services; - Proven project management skills; - Extensive experience in Wintel system administration, including change management, patch management, security management, vendor coordination, and application support; - In-depth knowledge of Windows Security Baselines, including application, troubleshooting, and resolution expertise; - Good knowledge of VMware, RemoteApp, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange, Patch Lifecycle and Automation; - Familiarity with Linux platforms is an advantage; - Solid understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS and Google Cloud; - Well-versed in relevant IT policies, procedures, practices, and compliance requirements; - A collaborative team player with strong communication skills and risk awareness; - Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure; - Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; - Ability to understand and communicate in Mandarin is a plus.
