Job Key No 38858 Job Title/ Category Contract Analyst Programmer (Bid Ref 59342-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Application Development Nature Contract Deadline 09 Apr 2026 Contract Period 10 Apr 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (9 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Wanchai, Hong Kong Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) IT systems operation support, maintenance and enhancements Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DH; Normal Working Hours: Mon 9:00 - 18:00, Tue - Fri: 9:00 - 17:45 (a) To provide ongoing support to MDIS operations; (b) To provide technical support to enhancements of MDIS, including programming, testing, deployment and bug fixing; (c) To elicit user requirements and propose designs of enhancement; (d) To liaise with contractor to complete changes and enhancements; (e) To assist arranging user acceptance with users; (f) To explore new technologies (e.g. Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Large Language Model) for adoption in MDIS; (g) To assist the manager to carry out other IT related duties as and when required. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements (1) Strong sense of responsibilties, and good analytic, presentation & liaison skills; (2) Solid experience in developing web-based applications using JAVA; (3) Solid experience in programming with database, such as MariaDB; (4) Solid experience in user requirement elicitation and analysis; (5) Able to work with business end users and multiple technical parties; (6) Solid experience in using Angular, Spring framework, AsposeTotal for JAVA, Kendo UI and iText is preferred; (7) Solid experience in developing on-premises AI-integrated solutions is preferred; and (8) Solid experience in using Government Cloud Infrastructure Service (GCIS) is preferred. Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . At least 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN); . At least 1.5 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 1.5 years' experience in Web Services (WSV); . At least 1 year's experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . 1 year's experience in EGIS (EGI) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT procurement (PRO) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
