Job Key No 38843 Job Title/ Category Contract Systems Analyst (Bid Ref 59314-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Application Development Nature Contract Deadline 08 Apr 2026 Contract Period 01 May 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (9 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Kowloon Bay Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) - Support and maintain Oracle database, system server and especially Training Management System (TMS) - Develop Attendance Management System (AttMS) - Perform development and maintenance tasks for Java applications Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the E&MSD; - To maintain, administer and support application systems such as TMS, e-CAS, BSUpdate, Master Project List, LBS, SLAMS and RPM; - Work with contractors for the maintenance of Oracle database. - Design and optimize database schemas to support application requirements, ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity. - Design and implement a robust framework for EMSD's Java applications to ensure scalability, maintainability, and seamless integration with existing systems. - Implement system enhancements to address new user requirements and meet evolving security standards. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 8.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 5.0 Requirements - Have a Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Engineering, or related IT disciplines, or equivalent; OR Have a Higher Diploma in Computer Subjects from a Hong Kong Polytechnic University, or equivalent; - Have at least 8 years&;#8217; relevant working experience in the development/maintenance of Java application software systems and - Proven experience in designing, managing, and optimizing Oracle databases is required. - Hands-on experience in developing or maintaining training management systems is mandatory. - Knowledge and experience in systems analysis and design - Work experience in government department is required. - Familiar with government IT policies and guidelines, in particular in IT security e.g. Baseline IT Security Policy (S17) and IT Security Guidelines (G3) are preferred. Technical Skills: . At least 8 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 6 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 5 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB); . At least 4 years' experience in Enterprise Java Beans Development (EJB); . 7 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM) is an advantage; . 5 years' experience in Oracle Database Tuning (ODT) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 4 years' experience in software testing (STM); . 3 years' experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 5 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
