Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) To research, design, develop and test systems and applications for the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF). Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HKPF; - To support various phases of IT projects (includes IoT, Big Data Platform, and Patrol Robot initiatives), covering feasibility studies, systems analysis and design, procurement, installation, programming, implementation, and system maintenance. - To collaborate with users and stakeholders to gather and refine system requirements, and to provide ongoing support and resolution of user enquiries. - To design and develop web and mobile applications. - To develop and enhance data modelling and visualisation tools for the Big Data Platform. - To configure, maintain, and support RFID system deployment. - To prepare technical documentation, project reports, and specifications. - To plan and conduct programme testing, system testing, and user acceptance exercises. - To deliver training sessions and share IT knowledge with users and team members. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements - Candidates must have prior working experience in the HKSAR Government. - At least three (3) years' post-qualification information technology experience of which at least one (1) year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity. - Proficient in systems programming or technical support of systems software, collaborative tools, application development, implementation, and maintenance using programming languages and various support/development tools/environments such as Python, JAVA, J2EE, WEBSPHERE, XML, C++, C#, COBOL, NATURAL, SQL, VISUAL BASIC, ORACLE tools, WEB SERVICES, .NET or OSS; and operating systems/platforms such as WINDOWS, UNIX, LINUX, MVS, VMWARE or NETWARE. - Experience in system programming, analysis, design, database management, and the system development life cycle (SDLC). - Experience in R&D, as well as feasibility and technical studies. - Experience in managing tender projects. - Preferably experienced in AI algorithm development and implementation, with knowledge of AI/ML frameworks. - Candidates will be required to undergo and pass security vetting/checking. Technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in Apache Web Server (AWS); . At least 1 year's experience in C++ (C++); . At least 1 year's experience in HTML5 (HT5); . At least 1 year's experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 1 year's experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . At least 1 year's experience in PHP programming (PHP); . At least 1 year's experience in Structured Query Language (SQL). Non-technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in customer service (CLS); . At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 1 year's experience in Government tendering procedures (GTP); . At least 1 year's experience in managing Government IT standards (ITG); . At least 1 year's experience in conducting IT training/briefing (ITT); . At least 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP); . At least 1 year's experience in project management (PRM); . At least 1 year's experience in IT procurement (PRO); . At least 1 year's experience in vendor management (VMG). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
