Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the IRD; 1. To oversee, design, develop, manage, and support the system architecture of Tax Portals on the Cloud platform of the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) and the Digital Policy Office (DPO). 2. To lead subordinates to work with all stakeholders, including in-house project teams, outsourced contractors, end-users, product vendors, etc. for developing, testing, supporting, and problem-fixing the Tax Portals according to user requirements and ensuring the Tax Portals compliant with the required system and security standards for public-facing and in-house services. 3. To conduct proof-of-concept and prepare requirement specifications for the acquisition of system components, equipment and services, taking into account diversified secure and reliable technologies. 4. To review and maintain system documents and inventory records of the supporting systems to ensure accuracy and integrity. 5. To possess good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise and work with all stakeholders for system and application support. 6. To carry out any other task assignments as directed by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 6.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements 1. Solid hands-on experience in system architecture and infrastructure design, setup, administration, configuration, enhancement, maintenance, support, problem-solving, encryption, security, and performance tuning on Linux-based, Windows-based, and Container-as-a-Service (CaaS) platforms. 2. Solid hands-on experience of the following will be an advantage: (a) VMware ESXi (b) Red Hat Enterprise Linux (c) WildFly/JBoss Application Server (d) Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (e) Microservices architecture 3. Solid hands-on experience in implementing IT systems that adopt container architecture and/or diversified secure and reliable technologies. 4. Ability to work independently and proactively, and willing to work on-site during non-office hours, including after midnight and public holidays when required occasionally. 5. Good communication and interpersonal skills to assist supervisors and collaborate with in-house project teams, outsourced contractors, end-users, product vendors to complete the required tasks. 6. Readiness to carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors to complete the required tasks. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in JBoss Application Server (JAS); . At least 3 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN); . At least 3 years' experience in Networking (NET); . At least 3 years' experience in Apache Web Server (AWS); . At least 3 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 3 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT); . 3 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in EGIS (EGI) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in batch job monitoring (BJM) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in System Backup Operation (BKO) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . Good written English is a must; . At least 2 years' experience in software testing (STM); . At least 2 years' experience in vendor management (VMG); . 2 years' experience in site preparation (SPE) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
