| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the EDB;
The Analyst Programmer is mainly deployed to execute the following duties on the support of the School Maintenance Automated Rapport Terminal (SMART) System: a. assisting SPM Section in the co-ordination with SMART user sections, including REO, CKS Section, SPM Section, etc., and providing them technical support on the system usage; b. assisting in the system administration tasks for the SMART system, e.g. user accounts and user rights, and other system parameters settings; c. assisting in the development, maintenance and system analysis and design of the enhancement works if required; d. assisting SPM Section in the gathering of user requirements for application maintenance and enhancement issues; e. assisting SPM Section in the user testing and data preparation for application maintenance and enhancement issues; f. providing technical support to the operation, maintenance and improvement of IT equipment and database systems of SPM Section; and g. assisting SPM Section to carry out all other IT-related duties as directed by supervisors.

| Requirements |
At least 2 years of experience in application support.
The staff will be required to work in EDB SPM office at Shek Kip Mei 5 days a week, and will occasionally visit offices of other user sections of EDB
Technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in Java Servlet Programming (JSP);
. At least 2 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL);
. At least 1 year's experience in JAVA Programming (JAV).
Non-technical Skill:
. 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
