Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DEVB; The CAPs are commonly responsible to: - - Conduct comprehensive functional, regression and integration testing on bug fixes and function enhancements delivered by the IT contractor for the ECMIS, and accurately record test results and defects; - Implement and maintain automated testing scripts and related artefacts in accordance with the test automation design, standards and guidelines defined by the supervisor; - Set up, schedule and execute automated and manual test runs, and summarise test results for review by the supervisor and project team; - Provide helpdesk support service to ECMIS internal users and external contractors, including call logging, preliminary investigation, reproduction of issues and preparation of detailed incident records for escalation; - Assist in analysing defect patterns, carrying out basic impact analysis and proposing test cases for fix verification and regression coverage; - Prepare and manage test data required for various testing activities, ensuring proper handling and alignment with security and privacy requirements; - Assist in updating and maintaining user guides, FAQs, test cases, test logs and other technical and operational documentation; - Support user training, briefings and demonstrations by setting up related facilities, preparing test environments, sample cases and demonstration scripts as needed; - Perform any other programming, testing, scripting, reporting or operational support tasks assigned by the supervisor that contribute to the smooth progress of the Nursing period of ECMIS project; - Assist in gathering user requirements and designing system for new/enhancing IT applications; - Assist in conducting User Acceptance Tests and perform quality assurance on different project deliverables; - Support production deployment and rollout activities of new/enhancing IT applications; - Perform programming and bug fixing for enhancing and maintaining existing IT systems; - Perform patch deployment for IT systems; - Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 5.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements - Knowledge of software testing techniques (including functional, regression and integration testing) and experience in using defect tracking and test management tools; - Practical programming or scripting experience sufficient to develop and maintain automated test scripts and utilities in commonly used languages and tools; - Experienced in IT system implementation, testing or maintenance using programming languages and various support and development tools/enhancements, including JAVA, JSON, XML, REST APIs and SQL; - Experienced in maintaining and providing technical support service for the public-facing IT systems of government bureaux/departments; - Proficient in Excel reporting or data analysis; - Experienced in providing technical support via phone and email to address queries/incidents reported from users; and - It is an advantage for the candidate to possess experience in delivering and support public-facing government IT systems that are related to contractor management. Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 2 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . At least 2 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 2 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB). Non-technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT); . At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
