Job Key No 37562 Job Title/ Category Contract Analyst Programmer (Bid Ref 58161-2) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Application Development Nature Contract Deadline 29 May 2026 Contract Period 01 Jun 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (8 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Wan Chai Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Provide development to the implementation projects and provide system support to on-going application systems in HKPF Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HKPF; - To provide project implementation to new HKPF projects, e.g. FDAP and on-going maintenance support to a number of existing HKPF systems e.g. e154+, SRE etc. - To build, and optimize applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) for tasks such as text generation, summarization, classification, and intelligent search. - To adapt open-source LLMs and leverage LLM application platforms and workflow automation tools. - To design and implement end-to-end Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, integrating vector databases, embedding models, chunking strategies, and re-ranking models with LLMs. - To integrate LLM APIs and open-source models into other application systems. - To proactively research emerging LLM technologies and stay current with the rapidly evolving LLM landscape. - To support the procurement of hardware, software and services, as well as provide technical support for system enhancements and security audits to ensure compliance with government IT security standards. - To carry out any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements The candidate shall possess the following mandatory skills - Solid experience in IT application development and management - Solid experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support - Solid experience in LLMs - Solid experience in Python - Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese It is desirable if the candidate possesses the following skills - Experience in LLM workflow automation tools e.g. Dify, n8n - Experience in Kubernetes - Knowledge in RAG - Knowledge in Chunking strategies, Model fine-tuning, Prompt Engineering Security vetting by HKPF is required. Technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 1 year's experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
