Job Key No 36411 Job Title/ Category Contract IT Assistant (non-shift duty) (Bid Ref 56789-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 23 Dec 2025 Contract Period 02 Feb 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (11 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Yau Ma Tei and Cheung Sha Wan Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Provide System Support for 1823 Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO; The staff is required to perform system administration, testing, regular patching, and support system maintenance including but not limited to the following: (1) To assist the Systems Engineers and Assistant Systems Engineers to manage, maintain and enhancement of existing applications and manage new projects (2) To support core systems and related hardware and software installation and configuration; (3) To monitor the system and take approicate actions when receiving system alerts (4) To provide network administration and operational support, including but not limited to configuration change and firmware upgrade (5) To assist the System Engineers/ Assistant Systems Engineers to perform troubleshooting on network routers/switches, VMware, Servers(Windows/Linux), disk storage system and data backup system (6) To provide 1st tier support on core systems; (7) To perform regular system/software upgrade and patching during non-office hours; (8) To handle administration work such as documentation, inventory, system health checking, hardware/software maintenance; (9) To support IT security assessment and compliance audit (10) To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 0.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 2.0 Requirements (1) Minimum 2 years of IT working experience with at least 1 year of IT support experience in call centre; (2) At least 2 years solid knowledge and experiences in supporting Avaya CMS, NICE Engage, NICE IEX and Oracle Siebel; (3) Experience in any following area is an advantage: - Troubleshooting of Linux/Windows - Linux / Windows Shell Script - Microsoft SQL Server - Microsoft Exchange (4) Overtime work, irregular hours work and work on Sat/Sun/Public Holiday are required when necessary Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 2 years' experience in Windows NT Server Administration & Network Support (WNT). Non-technical Skill: . 1 year's experience in vendor management (VMG) is an advantage. - At least Level 2 or above in 5 subjects including Chinese and English Language in HKDSEE or Grade E or above in 5 subjects, including Chinese and English Language (Syl B) in HKCEE or equivalent; - At least 2 years'relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
