This role is pivotal in the bank's digital transformation, leading the development and infrastructure orchestration of our mobile banking solutions. - The SSA will bridge the gap between traditional Wholesale Banking systems and modern cloud native architecture, specifically leveraging Alibaba mPaaS for mobile delivery and Oracle ODBX as the digital banking engine. - The SSA will lead multiple development teams (local and offshore) to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance applications in compliance with HKMA standards. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to a leading bank; - Technical Leadership & Architecture: Provide expert guidance on system architecture, specifically focusing on the integration between Alibaba Cloud infrastructure, mPaaS middleware, and Oracle ODBX. - Mobile Solution Oversight: Lead the development of mobile features using HTML5 and JavaScript within the mPaaS container, ensuring seamless interaction with backend APIs. - Team Management & Mentorship: Lead and mentor multiple application development teams. Conduct code reviews and ensure strict adherence to SDLC compliance and quality standards. - System Integration: Coordinate the technical alignment between Wholesale Banking applications and the Oracle ODBX digital banking platform. - Vendor & Offshore Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for vendors and overseas/China offshore development teams to ensure delivery quality. - Requirements & Analysis: Solicit user requirements from the Wholesale Banking division and translate them into robust technical specifications and system designs. - End-to-End Implementation: Participate in the full development lifecycle, from initial design and environment setup on Alibaba Cloud to deployment and post-production support. - Maintenance & Documentation: Oversee application support, troubleshooting, and the continuous update of technical documentation to ensure audit readiness. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 10.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements Education: - University graduate, preferably majoring in Computer Science or a related discipline. Experience: - 10+ years of hands-on software development experience. - Minimum 3 years of experience in Java-related software development. - Proven leadership experience managing distributed or offshore teams. Technical Expertise: - Core Java/JEE: JEE, Servlet, JSP, WAS/WebLogic platform. - Mobile Technologies: Expertise in HTML5, JavaScript (ES6+), and React Native. - Cloud & Middleware: Hands-on experience with Alibaba Cloud and Alibaba mPaaS (Mobile Gateway, MDS, MAS). - Database & Tools (Not must): Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, Eclipse, Git, Jenkins, and MQ. Specialized Knowledge: - Has knowledge of Oracle ODBX (Oracle Digital Banking Experience). - Experience in Wholesale/Corporate Banking workflows (Payments, Trade Finance, etc.).
