Project Nature (T26) Support LCSD's PC Helpdesk and provide on-site/ remote support to the LCSD OA users
Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD;
- Perform general helpdesk duties;
- Provide support for IT Equipment request;
- Coordinate with support staff, users, and outsourced contractors of call centre and HW/SW maintenance services for operational matters and desktop support activities
- Provide on-site troubleshooting/ support for IT users located in LCSD offices;
- Provide support to OA/ E-mail/ Confidential Mail services in LCSD;
- Participate in the rollout of Centrally Managed Messaging Platform (CMMP) in LCSD;
- Provide ad-hoc/ on-call support for urgent incidents and support activities during non-office hours may be required; and
- Undertake any ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements - At least 1 year solid experience in supporting PC Clients running on Microsoft platform, Internet applications;
- At least 1 year solid experience in helpdesk call handling;
- Experience in Centrally Managed Messaging Platform (CMMP) service rollout is preferred;
- Familiar with Microsoft products;
- Good communication skills, mature, self-motivated and ability to work independently; and
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Cantonese
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in Confidential Mail System (CMS);
. At least 1 year's experience in Lotus Notes Mail Admin. & Technical Support (LNM);
. At least 1 year's experience in Office Automation (OAN);
. At least 1 year's experience in PC LAN Support (PLS);
. 1 year's experience in Internet/ Intranet (INT) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. Good coordination skills is a must;
. At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 2 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT).
- At least Level 2 or above in 5 subjects including Chinese and English Language in HKDSEE or Grade E or above in 5 subjects, including Chinese and English Language (Syl B) in HKCEE or equivalent;
- At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
