Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO; (1) To prepare event briefs and presentation slides, and provide logistics support and liaison for senior Government officials' engagement to seminar, conference and promotion events; (2) To conduct desktop research and provide advisory support on Hong Kong Smart City Initiatives including smart city standards, potential applications and updates on smart city development; (3) To provide support in preparing smart city related documents, such as line-to-take and Q&As for senior officials to attend publicity events and LegCo meetings; (4) To liaise with various parties for the arrangement of smart city related events; (5) To provide and review comments on study reports from Bureaux & Departments related to smart city development in Hong Kong; and (6) To provide administrative support in other ICT matters and perform other relevant tasks as assigned. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements Candidates are required to possess the necessary IT knowledge (such as Internet, Big data, IT trend) and should have a general understanding of the Smart City Blueprint for Hong Kong and Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Development Blueprint. Candidates shall possess strong hands-on working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint for preparation of presentation slides. Candidates should be a good team player and possess working experience in liaison and coordination, promotion, good command of English and Chinese, strong technical background and analytical capability, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and positive working attitude. Experience in working with other bureaux/departments of the Government is preferred. Technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in Internet/ Intranet (INT); . 1 year's experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in HTML version before HTML5 (HTM) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Wireless and Mobile (WLM) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Multimedia (MUL) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . Good coordination skills is a must; . Good written English is a must; . 3 years' experience in IT in the community e.g. promote the use of IT/IT awareness (ITC) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in IT advisory and promotion, e.g. exhibition, publication (APR) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in presentation (PRT) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
