Implement infrastructure projects including VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware Tanzu environments, focusing on platform upgrades, migrations, platform transformations and new feature deployment and integration with existing systems; 2. Coordinate and manage existing and new IT infrastructure projects, overseeing contractor activities, procurement processes and ensuring adherence to government standards and compliance requirements. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the E&MSD; A. Lead technical delivery of VMware infrastructure projects, enabling new platform features and capabilities; B. Manage end-to-end project delivery for infrastructure, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation and vendor coordination; C. Develop and maintain user manuals, operation procedures and system maintenance documents; D. Assist in tendering operations from drafting tender specification to tender award for government procurement; E. Any other duties assigned by supervisor. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 5.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements i) Degree or Higher diploma in computer subjects or related disciplines; ii) Minimum 5 years of post-qualification for information technology experience; iii) Working knowledge of VMware Aria Suite for cloud management and automation and VMware Tanzu for containerized application deployment and management; iv) Demonstrated expertise in VMware technologies with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter and ESXi; v) Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in both Linux and Windows system administration, including server hardening, patching, and performance tuning; vi) Comprehensive knowledge of government IT security standards, frameworks, and compliance requirements; vii) Experience implementing security controls and remediation measures in virtualized environments; viii) Hands-on experience with VMware data encryption technologies (Data-at-Rest and Data-in-Transit encryption); ix) Proven experience in Disaster Recovery Planning using MX7000 Stretched Cluster; x) Knowledge in Public Key Infrastructure including Reverse Proxy and VMware vCenter certificate management; xi) Experience configuring VMware Virtual SAN (vSAN); xii) Proficiency in TCP/IP and VLAN/LAN switching configurations within VMware environments; xiii) Ability to provide technical architectural support; xiv) Strong commitment to project deadline and delivering high quality work; xv) Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues; xvi) Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsible and well-organized; xvii) Knowledge in Information Security Management (SRAA, DPO G3 S17), IT Security experience (SRAA, DPO G3 S17) and Familiarity with IT Security scanning tools (SRAA, Nessus Scan) is preferred. Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF); . At least 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT); . At least 2 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12); . At least 1 year's experience in Technical Architectural Support (TAS); . At least 1 year's experience in TCP/IP (TCP); . At least 1 year's experience in Virtual LAN/LAN Switching (VLS); . At least 1 year's experience in System Backup Operation (BKO); . At least 1 year's experience in Data Encryption Technology (DET); . At least 1 year's experience in Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP); . At least 1 year's experience in Networking (NET); . At least 1 year's experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI); . At least 1 year's experience in Storage Area Network (SAN); . 1 year's experience in Security Risk Assessment (SRA) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Information Security Management (ISM) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . 1 year's experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Government tendering procedures (GTP) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
