(T26) The Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS) provides central application hosting services for government bureaux and departments to deploy and deliver e-Government services in a more rapid pace and cost-effective manner. The successful candidate is responsible for the network architectural design, setup, operation and nursing of GCIS network infrastructure.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
1. To plan, design and operate the GCIS network infrastructure
2. To provide technical advice on the GCIS network support
3. To oversee change management of network infrastructure including network routers, switches, firewalls, remote access servers, SAN switches, etc.
4. To supervise problem diagnosis and performance tuning on GCIS network equipment
5. To monitor work performance and project deliverables from outsourced contractors
6. To carry out other project related duties as designated by Senior Systems Manager

| Requirements |
1. shall possess solid experience in supporting large-scale infrastructure (over 1,000 virtual servers) with dual-active production sites over cross-site router and switch network for hosting e-services
2. shall possess sound technical experience in supporting virtual private network, Internet firewall and traffic monitoring and management devices
3. shall possess sound technical experience in supporting Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems
4. shall have experience in supporting GCIS Platform-as-a-Service (aka EGIS)
5. shall possess practical experience in adopting software defined networking technology using VMware NSX-T
6. shall have experience in conducting quality assurance on project deliverables from outsourced contractors
7. shall have experience in building new infrastructure in a data centre including site preparation and setting up network from the ground up
8. shall have strong sense of analytical and problem solving skills
9. shall be hard-working and self-motivate with positive attitude
10. shall be a team leader with good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
11. may be required to work outside normal working hours for ad-hoc firefighting
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in Intrusion Prevention System (IPS);
. At least 3 years' experience in Network Design (NDN);
. At least 3 years' experience in Internet Firewall Technical Support (IFW);
. At least 3 years' experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN);
. At least 2 years' experience in EGIS (EGI);
. 3 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF) is an advantage;
. 3 years' experience in Remote Access Server (RAS) is an advantage;
. 3 years' experience in Router Configuration (ROU) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in quality assurance (QAS);
. 3 years' experience in quality management (QMT) is an advantage;
. 3 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage;
. Good written English is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
