| Project Nature |
(T26) This is a CSSA position responsible for the Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS), which provides a reliable application hosting platform as well as various e-services for shared use among government bureaux and departments. The successful candidate is required to i) provide support on contract administration and configuration management of GCIS PaaS (aka EGIS); and ii) support quality assurance and validation of project deliverables from various contractors.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
1. To provide system support to GCIS platform
2. To provide technical advice and assist to troubleshoot on application/system problems and Storage Area Network (SAN)
3. To perform acceptance testing, quality assurance and validation of project deliverables
4. To provide support to client B/D projects and to interface with various support teams/ outsourcers/vendors of DPO concerning the day-to-day operation of the GCIS
5. To carry out other project related duties as designated by the supervisors
Successful candidate will mainly work in Cyberport and occasionally in data centres in Tsuen Wan, Cheung Sha Wan and Sai Kung

| Requirements |
1. Experience in EGIS is required (EGIS has merged with GCIS and became GCIS PaaS and GCIS Shared Services)
2. Experience in Linux system administration and Storage Area Network (SAN) is required
3. Experience in contract administration is required
4. Experience in quality assurance is required
5. Candidate may be required to work outside normal working hours for ad-hoc trouble-shooting or system migration
Criminal record verification by the Hong Kong Police Force is required
Technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in EGIS (EGI);
. At least 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN);
. At least 2 years' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in contract administration (CON);
. At least 2 years' experience in quality assurance (QAS).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
