To deploy F5 web application firewall to strength the IT security control on EMSD departmental network. 2. To deploy the Forti Proxy solution to centralize the Internet traffic of EMSD departmental network. 3. To assist in working on the virtual network segmentation project (VMware NSX) Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the E&MSD; 1 To manage and implement network projects; 2 To diagnose, analyze, and resolve network problems and security vulnerabilities encountered during/after network implementation tasks; 3 To research and evaluate the latest products, tools, and practices to recommend cost-effective solutions; 4 To perform quality control and assurance in network implementations; 5 To analyze and follow the related IT regulations, policies, and guidelines of HKSARG; 6 To prepare guidelines and procedures for the operation and maintenance tasks; 7 To provide technical consultation services; 8 To develop network-related programs to streamline the operation and maintenance process; 9 To manage the Contractors and liaise with different parties to achieve the goals of network projects through efficient project management skills. 10 To support, operate and maintain the network infrastructure/system of EMSD including but not limited to: 10.1 Trust Zone Firewall System 10.2 Web Proxy System 11 To assist in the procurement processes of IT products and services; and 12 To undertake any other duties as required by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements 1. Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer subjects or related IT disciplines; 2. At least four (4) years&;#8217; post-qualification information technology experience of which one (1) year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity; 3. At least two (2) years&;#8217; in network infrastructure/system support, operate and maintain, preferably with solid experience in enterprise network project design, implementation and manage, also the management of Contractor/Vendor; 4. Having Government project and procurement experience are more preferable; 5. Strong commitment to project deadline and deliver high quality of work; 6. Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsive and well-organized; 7. Possession of certifications of CCNP / CISSP / ITIL is preferable; 8. Good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills; and 9. Knowledge and solid experience in managing government tendering process would be a plus. Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in Internet Firewall Technical Support (IFW); . At least 2 years' experience in IT Security (ITS); . At least 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN); . At least 2 years' experience in Networking (NET); . At least 2 years' experience in Proxy Server (PRS); . At least 2 years' experience in CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products (CIP); . 2 years' experience in Experience in Datacentre Maintenance (DCM) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Huawei VRP & Huawei Products (HAU) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV); . 1 year's experience in Government tendering procedures (GTP) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in conducting IT training/briefing (ITT) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in vendor management (VMG) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
