(T26) This is a CPM position responsible for the current ongoing Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS), which provides a reliable application hosting platform as well as a set of Shared Services among government bureaux and departments in delivering e-government services. The successful candidate is required to provide overall IT management for GCIS infrastructure, including Storage Area Network (SAN), backup, database systems and GCIS Shared Services to ensure its high availability and stability.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
1. To ensure high availability and stability of GCIS Infrastructure, as well as the overall management of SAN and database systems, including DB2 and MySQL
2. To supervise the enhancement and ongoing support for GCIS backup system
3. To supervise the ongoing support for GCIS Shared Services
4. To supervise problem diagnosis and performance tuning on GCIS infrastructures
5. To monitor work performance and conduct quality assurance of project deliverables from outsourcing contractors
6. To carry out other project related duties as designated by Senior Systems Manager

| Requirements |
Candidate shall :
1. possess sound technical knowledge and experience in administration, management and tuning of IBM DB2 and MySQL
2. have experience on administration of Storage Area Network System (SAN) and Object Storage across dual-active production sites
3. have experience in supporting EGIS (EGIS has merged with GCIS and became GCIS PaaS and GCIS Shared Services)
4. have experience in managing Internet facing G2C and G2B government projects
5. have strong sense of analytical and problem solving skills
6. be hard-working and self-motivate with positive attitude
7. be a team leader with good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in System Backup Operation (BKO);
. At least 3 years' experience in DB2 Database Tuning (DBT);
. At least 3 years' experience in EGIS (EGI);
. At least 3 years' experience in MySQL (MSQ);
. At least 3 years' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in managing G2B and G2C projects (GBC);
. At least 3 years' experience in quality assurance (QAS).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
