Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the CSD; The job duties requirements of the service are as follows:- a) To be in-charge of VCIS technical support; b) To be in-charge of on-going system maintenance support to all networking hardware and software (including routers, switches, firewalls, internal and external load balancers, Wifi Controller and Access Point, DNS appliance, VPN gateway, network monitoring systems and etc); c) To assist applications teams and various support teams in ongoing or project-based network related issue in the areas of feasible study, analysis and design, sizing, procurement, implementation and testing; d) To evaluate and apply firmware updates and software patches for all network related devices and systems; e) To co-ordinate and collaborate with contractors, users, application teams and various support teams for proper scheduling and implementation of network related task; f) To provide round the clock first-line and/or second-line technical support for network infrastructure whenever there are problems in network related incident; g) To prepare the requirement specifications for networking hardware and software, and network implementation services; and h) To carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 6.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements a) Solid knowledge and good technical skill for equipment of Cisco, Huawei, H3C, Fortigate and Solarwinds; b) Hand-on experience in Cisco/ Huawei/ H3C router and switches configuration and technical support; c) Good communication and skills, both written and verbal, in Chinese and English; d) Overtime and on-call work is required when necessary; e) Working at the remote correctional facilities for provision of support services as and when required; and f) Undergoing integrity check by HKPF is required. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products (CIP); . At least 3 years' experience in Internet Firewall Technical Support (IFW); . At least 3 years' experience in Router Configuration (ROU); . At least 3 years' experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN); . At least 3 years' experience in Wide Area Network (WAN); . At least 2 years' experience in Video Conference Technology (VCT); . At least 2 years' experience in Network Design (NDN); . 2 years' experience in Wireless Technology (WLT) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Huawei VRP & Huawei Products (HAU) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . Good coordination skills is a must; . At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 2 years' experience in site preparation (SPE); . At least 1 year's experience in vendor management (VMG); . 2 years' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT procurement (PRO) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
