Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the CSD; The proposed staff shall be responsible for providing technical support for the IT infrastructure, departmental network and Internet-facing network of Correctional Services Department that includes, but not limited to, the followings : a) To provide round the clock first-line and/or second-line technical support for network infrastructure whenever there is problem in network related incident; b) To provide maintenance support to all networking hardware and software (including routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi Controller and Access Point, VPN, network monitoring systems, etc.); c) To co-ordinate and collaborate with contractors, users, application teams and various support teams for the implementation of network related task and on-site services; and d) To carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 5.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 5.0 Requirements (1) Hand-on experience in Cisco/ H3C router and switches configuration and technical support; (2) Good communication skills. (3) Good command of Chinese and English. (4) Self-motivated, independent, diligent, polite, pro-active, fast learning and good team player. (5) Working at remote correctional facilities for provision of support services as and when required. (6) Undergoing integrity check by HKPF is required. Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in PC LAN Support (PLS); . At least 2 years' experience in CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products (CIP); . 1 year's experience in Huawei VRP & Huawei Products (HAU) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Router Configuration (ROU) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Wide Area Network (WAN) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 2 years' experience in site preparation (SPE); . 1 year's experience in vendor management (VMG) is an advantage; . Good coordination skills is an advantage. - At least Level 2 or above in 5 subjects including Chinese and English Language in HKDSEE or Grade E or above in 5 subjects, including Chinese and English Language (Syl B) in HKCEE or equivalent; - At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 5 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
