Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the CSD; The proposed staff shall take an assistant role in providing support to the system enhancement and maintenance activities in particular related to interfacing with other systems of iCRMS and IT Infrastructure in maintenance period. Job duties include but are not limited to: (a) Assist in collecting requirements for system enhancement requests related to interfaces with other systems, and prepare relevant documentation such as system designs, specifications, test cases, and operations documentation; (b) Collaborate with the contractor maintenance team, iCRMS users, and users from other interfacing systems on enhancement requests, focusing on areas such as system design, API development, coding, testing, UAT, deployment, user training, and ongoing support; (c) Address reported application issues or problems from users, working with the contractor to implement necessary fixes or enhancements to the system; (d) Participate in the evaluation of software products and technologies to identify suitable solutions, and assist in developing technical specifications for related IT procurements; (e) Conduct quality assurance on application programs to ensure compliance with government IT policies, standards, methodologies, and best practices; (f) Provide technical support for the daily operation of the iCRMS application; and (g) Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 2.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements (a) The proposed staff must have working experience in: - (i) Vendor management; (ii) Working experience in Government; (iii) System development IT standards and methodologies; (b) Good communication skills, customer service skills, coordination skills and liaison skills; (c) Good command of Chinese and English; (d) Self-motivated, independent, diligent, polite, pro-active, fast learning and good team player; (e) Working at remote correctional facilities for the provision of support services as and when required; (f) Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight schedules; and (g) Undergoing integrity check by HKPF is required. Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in Project Management and Issue Tracking System (PIT); . At least 2 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 2 years' experience in WebSphere Application Server (WAS); . At least 2 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . At least 1 year's experience in Wireless and Mobile (WLM); . At least 1 year's experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 1 year's experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB); . 1 year's experience in Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Function Point Analysis (FPA) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in PRINCE (PRE) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Source Control Management System (SCM) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in Business Process Modeling (BPM); . At least 2 years' experience in customer service (CLS); . Good coordination skills is a must; . At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . Good written English is a must; . At least 2 years' experience in presentation (PRT); . At least 2 years' experience in quality assurance (QAS); . At least 2 years' experience in software testing (STM); . 1 year's experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
