Job Key No 34238 Job Title/ Category Contract Project Manager (Bid Ref 54610-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 09 Jun 2025 Contract Period 01 Aug 2025 to 02 Feb 2026 (6 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Correctional Services Department, Integrated Technology Section, 27/F, Wanchai Tower, Wanchai Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) The proposed staff shall be responsible for (i) managing the on-going maintenance and support of the departmental network and network infrastructure in relation to the project of Integrated Custodial and Rehabilitation Management System (iCRMS); (ii) providing day-to-day IT management and technical advisory support services for the IT systems of CSD and; (iii) planning the relocation of departmental network and network infrastructure in relation to the iCRMS to new CSD headquarters and new computer server room at LCKRC. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the CSD; The proposed staff shall take a management role for (i) the system maintenance support and upgrade of IT network infrastructure; (ii) administering and providing IT advice of the IT systems of CSD; and (iii) planning the network infrastructure relocation exercise. Job duties include but not limited to: a) Manage, supervise and perform quality control on the system maintenance support and upgrade of IT network infrastructure of CSD to all networking hardware and software (including routers, switches, firewalls, internal and external load balancers, Wifi Controller and Access Point, DNS appliance, VPN gateway, network monitoring systems and etc); b) Lead the contractors in providing support for network infrastructure services running 24 x 7 around the clock, and ensure prompt and accurate resolution in case of issues encountered; c) Perform proactive maintenance such as overseeing system performance, managing network infrastructure support service providers and vendors on performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning and expansion, applying firmware updates and software patches; d) Lead liaison with applications teams and various support teams in ongoing or project-based network related issue in the areas of feasible study, analysis and design, sizing, procurement, implementation and testing; e) Provide support services outside office hour as required; f) Ensure the IT network infrastructure of CSD follow the government IT infrastructure standards and best practices; g) Ensure the IT network infrastructure of CSD is compliance with the IT security policy and guidelines; h) Provide technical advisory support for the IT systems of CSD, including Email systems, CSD public website, CSD intranet website and video conferencing system for handling video visit in CSD premises; i) Plan and provide technical advice for the smooth relocation of network infrastructure to new CSD headquarters; and j) carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 10.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 4.0 Requirements (1) Solid knowledge and good technical skill for equipment of Cisco, Huawei, H3C, Fortigate, Check Point, HP Intelligent Management Center, F5, A10, Imperva and etc; (2) At least 8 years of hands-on experience in Cisco/ Huawei/ H3C router and switches configuration and technical support; (3) Experience in supervising a team of 4 members or more to provide on-going maintenance and support of network infrastructure; (4) Experience in implementing enterprise network infrastructure; (5) Experience in project management or technical consultancy; (6) Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in Chinese and English; (7) Well-developed problem-solving skills and root cause analysis skills; (8) Ability to understand strategy and align tactical and strategic work in a well-balanced way, to achieve results; (9) Self-motivated, independent, diligent, polite, pro-active, fast learning and good team player; (10) Working at remote correctional facilities for provision of support services as and when required; and (11) Undergoing integrity check by HKPF is required. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products (CIP); . At least 3 years' experience in Huawei VRP & Huawei Products (HAU); . At least 3 years' experience in Internet Firewall Technical Support (IFW); . At least 3 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF); . At least 3 years' experience in Router Configuration (ROU); . At least 3 years' experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN); . At least 3 years' experience in Wide Area Network (WAN); . At least 3 years' experience in Wireless Technology (WLT); . 2 years' experience in Internet/ Intranet (INT) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Network Design (NDN) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Video Conference Technology (VCT) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Project Management Professional (PMP) (PMP) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SAA) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Security Incident Detection and Handling (SDH) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . Good coordination skills is a must; . At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 3 years' experience in project management (PRM); . At least 3 years' experience in vendor management (VMG); . 1 year's experience in quality assurance (QAS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 10 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
