(T26) - Provide support for Linux Shared Platforms
- Provide support for SAN & Backup Infrastructure for Shared Platforms
- Assist for project implementation on shared platforms including the SAN migration and upgrade of EOS components

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD;
- Provide production support for Linux Shared Platform and SAN & Backup Infrastructure for Shared Platform
- Provide project support for Shared Platform
- Update technical documents and prepare operation manual
- Install security patches on various hardware platforms
- Prepare statistical reports like system utilization, bandwidth consumption, etc.
- Perform on-call technical support and other duties as required
- Work irregular hours if necessary
- Ad-hoc/ on-call support for urgent incidents during non-office hours may be required
- Undertake any ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

| Requirements |
- University Degree Holder
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Cantonese
- At least 2 years of solid working experience in IT production and technical support
- At least 2 years of solid working experience in Linux Server administration
- At least 2 years of solid working experience in Oracle RDBMS administration
- At least 2 years of solid working experience in SAN administration
- At least 1 year of working experience in administration of Windows Server administration is preferable
- At least 1 year of working experience in administration of Apache Web Server and Wildfly is preferable
- At least 1 year of working experience in administration of MySQL is preferable
- At least 1 year of working experience in administration of server virtualisation technology, including VMWare and Microsoft Windows Server is preferable
- At least 1 year of working experience in Management and Support of Government Systems & Services is preferable
- At least 1 years of working experience in Government Project Management is preferable
Technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN);
. At least 2 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB);
. At least 2 years' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN);
. 1 year's experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in MySQL (MSQ) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Apache Web Server (AWS) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in JBoss Application Server (JAS) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
