(T26) System development, maintenance and enhancement of IT systems under the Trade and Industry Department (TID)

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the TID;
- To develop, enhance and maintain IT application systems using web-based technologies
- To provide system support and maintenance for the existing computer systems such as Enhanced Certificate of Origin system, TID e-Payment Platform, Guest Invitation and Registration System, etc.
- To perform system development on new or existing modules of software applications, functionalities and databases
- To conduct unit tests and system integration tests
- To perform application deployment and prepare system documentations
- To assist in rectifying and resolving system problems when system incidents occurred
- To perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

| Requirements |
Candidates must be proficient in application development, support and maintenance and with hands on experience in Java Programming, SQL and Web Programming. Knowledge in Spring MVC, Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) and reporting tools (e.g. Jasper Report) are advantageous.
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV);
. At least 3 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL);
. At least 3 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB);
. 3 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in Developer/2000 (DEV) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in HTML5 (HT5) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Reporting (Crystal Report, iReport) (REP) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skill:
. 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
