Job Key No 31021 Job Title/ Category Infrastructure Architect Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 29 Jun 2026 Contract Period 6 months Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business statutory body Location Base Hong Kong Work Outside Current Location N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Duties - Serve contract assignments under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to a statutory body; - Assist the supervisor to oversee the operation of the IT infrastructure of the eMPF Platform (the “Platform”), which is being developed, and will be administered and operated by a third party delivery partner (the “Delivery Partner”); - Develop the monitoring framework and mechanism in respect of the operation of IT infrastructure; - Ensure the IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, network, virtualization, security controls, disaster recovery, service level standards, cloud management, system management, service management, data centre services, etc., fully comply with the relevant requirements, standards, policies, guidelines and best practices; - Work closely with the Delivery Partner, data centre service providers and other contractors to review deliverables, including but not limited to the completeness and reasonableness of the detailed work submitted, comparing with market practices; - Provide regular and ad hoc reporting to management on work progress and issues handling; - Coordinate with the Delivery Partner, data centre service providers, other contractors, business partners, as appropriate, for example, on infrastructure design, implementation, problem management, change management, etc; - Propose technical solutions, infrastructure design, technologies and products to use, standards to adopt, capacity required, etc., estimate the cost, prepare detailed documentation; - Perform other duties as directed by the eMPF PC from time to time. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 6.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 0.0 Requirements - A recognized degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent; AND five passes in subjects including Chinese Language, English Language (Syllabus B) (at least Level 2 from 2007 onwards for the language papers) and Mathematics in the HKCEE, or equivalent; - Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; - Solid experiences in delivering systems design and implementation of the large-scale projects in large corporations or government departments is highly desirable; - Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills; - In possession of technical research and analytical capabilities; - Excellent technical writing skills and solid experience in preparation of technical documentation; - Eagerness and aptitude to learn new technologies; - Mature, customer-oriented, independent, flexible and a good team player; - At least 6 years of relevant experience in system architect focusing on the overall system architecture, identifying major components and system relationship and solutions, and managing IT vendors, preferably in financial services and/or government environments; - Solid experience in the following IT infrastructure areas will be an advantage: . Windows and server administration; . SAN storage administration, backup & recovery administration, disaster recovery planning; . LAN/WAN administration; . IT security solutions; . Cloud and virtualization platform administration; . ITSM operation; . SLA / System performance monitoring; and . High Availability and system resilience solutions; - Professional certification in any of the above areas will be an advantage.
