| Project Nature |
(T26) 1. To provide system support for Office Automation (OA) network and related enhancement projects in LCSD; and
2. To provide system support for the Network Access Control (NAC) system in LCSD for about 6,000 PCs.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD;
1. Perform system administration and technical support on OA network with focus on virtualisation platforms, Windows server and Linux platforms;
2. Administer and manage the NAC system in LCSD;
3. Liaise with product vendors and DPO, etc. on technical matters;
4. Provide support for IT equipment procurement;
5. To install security patches on various hardware platforms and software applications;
6. To monitor and troubleshoot the server and network operational issues;
7. Conduct Proof-of-Concept (POC), products testing and new technology pilots for projects when necessary; and
8. Provide on-call support and perform other duties as required, and work outside normal working hours if needed.

| Requirements |
1. Have a Hong Kong degree, or equivalent;
2. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in administering Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Linux servers, and virtualisation technologies;
3. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in network administration/ technical support on LAN/WAN environment;
4. Proficient in both spoken and written English and Cantonese.
5. Possession of certifications of MCSA or LPI-1 is preferred.
Technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN);
. At least 2 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM);
. At least 1 year's experience in Proxy Server (PRS);
. At least 1 year's experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. At least 1 year's experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage;
. Good written English is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
