Job Key No 22790 Job Title/ Category Contract Analyst Programmer (Bid Ref 45025-4) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 24 Apr 2026 Contract Period 01 Jun 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (8 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Sha Tin and Wan Chai Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) - Support the LCSD Departmental Portal (DP) and e-Fax system and related upgrade/enhancement projects - Support the Office Automation (OA) Systems environment, desktop management system infrastructure, and related upgrade/enhancement projects - Support the OA services, IT facilities and related upgrade/enhancement projects Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD; - Perform system administration and provide technical support for the Active Directory, file sharing service, antivirus management, Departmental Portal, Sharepoint, desktop management infrastructure, etc.; - Plan and monitor the implementation, project schedule and production rollout of related projects such as infrastructure upgrade, Active Directory upgrade, Windows server upgrade, Sharepoint upgrade, EDR implementation etc.; - Participate in the related project management and procurement tasks; - Conduct feasibility study and perform technical evaluation for new technologies or upgrade projects; - Monitor the contractor's performance, risk management and compliance standards; - Participate in the rollout of Centrally Managed Messaging Platform (CMMP); - Provide on-call support and work outside normal working hours if necessary; and - Undertake any ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 8.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 4.0 Requirements - Have a Hong Kong degree, or equivalent; - Level 2 / Grade E or above in Chinese language and Level 3 / Grade C or above in English Language (Syllabus B before 2007) in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent is preferrable; - At least 4 years of experience in a supervisor role; - At least 4 years of experience in supporting Office Automation (OA) area; - At least 4 years of hands-on experience in administration and support of Microsoft Windows servers, Active Directory and domain controllers; - In-depth knowledge on OA Infrastructure, Departmental Portal and Government Office Automation Services is preferred; - Practical knowledge on virtualization technology such as VMware and web portal solution using open source software like Linux, oVirt, OpenShift, etc. is an advantage; - At least 2 years of solid experience in project management with adoption of common project management methodology such as PMP and PRINCE2; - Experience in project coordination, especially on large-scale rollout activities, supervising external service providers, service contract administration is preferred; - Independent, proactive and able to work under pressure; - Strong analytical ability, management and problem solving skills; and - Possession of certifications of ITIL / PMP / PRINCE2 is preferred Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA); . At least 4 years' experience in Office Automation (OAN); . At least 4 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12); . 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Departmental Portal (DPS) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 2 years' experience in project management (PRM); . 2 years' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
