Job Key No 22550 Job Title/ Category Contract Analyst Programmer (Bid Ref 44651-4) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 02 Jun 2026 Contract Period 01 Jul 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (7 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Mong Kok Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) System implementation and administration Technical support for system infrastructure Project support and technical support to IT projects Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD; To provide on-going support and maintenance on a virtualised infrastructure of the critical system with multiple vendors, possibly overnight and weekend online support; To work with multiple vendors for the design, proof-of-concept, implementation and support for the virtualised infrastructure including LAN, WAN and DCI for a critical system; To assist in the integration of virtualised infrastructure of the critical system to vendor-provided public cloud and delivery of the public cloud service; To manage and maintain cloud & on-premises infrastructure ensuring network/ system performance, liaison with vendors to diagnose issues proactively and enforce solutions to maintain healthy and stable application services; To maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments and reduce manual processes across cloud platforms and on-premises platform upon business demand; To examine the security measures in an ongoing basis for the virtualised infrastructure of the critical system according to the prevailing security regulations and guidelines; To provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting across development, staging and production environments; To work closely with multiple vendors for the design, proof-of-concept and implementation of various infrastructure products including hypervisor, operating system, network and K8S for on-going maintenance and support; To provide technical support for an internal IT system with internal users for around 1,500; To perform spatial data editing using ArCIS Desktop, including map layer adjustments and geospatial feature updates; To ensure good communication among project teams, vendors stakeholders, end users and other Bureaux/ Departments; To conduct site visits to data centres and major venues located in HKSAR if necessary; and To work irregular hours if necessary. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 6.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 2.0 Requirements University Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent; Minimum 6 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 2 years' experience in systems/ projects/ companies of similar capacity; Knowledge in ESRI ArcGIS server v10 or above; Knowledge in VMware, especially in vSAN stretched cluster version 8.0.3 or equivalent; Knowledge in RHEL, especially in RHEL 8.10 or equivalent; Knowledge in OpenShift, especially in OCP 4.16 or equivalent; Knowledge in AliCloud K8S, especially in ACK 1.34 or equivalent; Knowledge in Microsoft Active Directory, especially in 2019 or equivalent; Exposure to the latest IT infrastructure virtualisation and application containerisation technology; Have proven experience for network/ system support on a large-scaled mission critical system; Good knowledge on cloud native software architecture (Spring Cloud Gateway in Service Mesh, RabbitMQ, Redis & Elasticsearch); Proficient in technical writing; Holder of Esri GIS Fundamentals Foundation Certification is preferable; Holder of the VMware, Red Hat and K8S certifications would be an advantage; and Good communication skill with the ability to communicate in both Putonghua and English is highly appreciated. Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in IT Security (ITS); . At least 4 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN); . At least 4 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM); . At least 1 year's experience in Geographic Information System (GIS). Non-technical Skill: . At least 4 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
