Job Key No 22547 Job Title/ Category Contract Systems Analyst (Bid Ref 44628-3) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 13 Jun 2025 Contract Period 01 Aug 2025 to 31 Aug 2026 (13 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Mong Kok Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) System implementation and administration Technical support for system infrastructure Project support and technical support to IT projects Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD; To provide on-going support and maintenance on an existing large-scaled, containerized critical application with multiple vendors, possibly overnight and weekend online support; To manage and maintain cloud & on-premises infrastructure ensuring application performance, liaison with vendors to diagnose issues proactively and enforce solutions to maintain application health and stability; To maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments and reduce manual processes across cloud platforms and on-premises platform upon business demand; To collaborate closely with development team to streamline workflows and ensure cohesive application delivery and maintenance processes; To provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting across development, staging and production environments; To manage and maintain Veeam backup environment, monitor backup operations and ensure compliance with relevant data protection policies; To engage with contractors to verify and enforce their daily change plan in accordance with compliance well; To examine the security measures for the existing system & workflows according to security regulations and guidelines; To work closely with multiple vendors for the design, proof-of-concept and implementation of various infrastructure products including hypervisor, operating system, network and K8S for on-going maintenance and support; To develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the system configurations, procedure and troubleshooting guidelines; To ensure good communication among project teams, vendors stakeholders, end users and other Bureaux/ Departments; To conduct site visits to data centres and major venues located in HKSAR if necessary; and To work irregular hours if necessary. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 8.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 4.0 Requirements University Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent; Minimum 8 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 4 years in Systems Analyst role; Hands-on experience in system integration; Knowledge in VMware, especially in vSAN stretched cluster version 7U3 or equivalent; Knowledge in RHEL, especially in RHEL 8.10 or equivalent; Knowledge in OpenShift, especially in OCP 4.12 or equivalent; Knowledge in AliCloud K8S, especially in ACK 1.28 or equivalent; Knowledge in Microsoft Active Directory, especially in 2019 or equivalent; Knowledge in Veeam, especially in 12.3 or equivalent; Exposure to the latest IT infrastructure virtualization and application containerization technology; Have proven experience for system support on a large-scaled mission critical system; Strong hands-on expertise with virtualization, backup and kubernetes technology; Hands-on experience on DevOps & GitOps tools & processes (Gitea, Nexus, SonarQube, Jenkins & ArgoCD); Good knowledge on cloud native software architecture (Spring Cloud Gateway in Service Mesh, RabbitMQ, Redis & Elasticsearch); Proficient in technical writing; Holder of the VMware, Red Hat and K8S certifications would be an advantage; and Good communication skill with the ability to communicate in both Putonghua and English is highly appreciated. Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF); . At least 4 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN); . At least 4 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT); . 3 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM) is an advantage. Non-technical Skill: . At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
