Job Key No 22546 Job Title/ Category Contract Systems Analyst (Bid Ref 44625-3) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Application Development Nature Contract Deadline 13 Jun 2025 Contract Period 01 Aug 2025 to 31 Aug 2026 (13 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Mong Kok Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Ongoing support and technical support to IT projects Project planning and implementation System analysis and design Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD; To assist in preparation of funding application; To assist in project planning and implementation; To collect user requirements in defining project scope, specification, timeline and resources; To take an active role in monitoring IT projects; To manage vendors and report project activities; To manage project issues with risk forecast capabilities, especially in Geographic Information System (GIS) aspect; To preform spatial analysis using ArcGIS Desktop 10.8.2 for existing system; To publish spatial data to ArcGIS enterprise 10.9.1 using ArcGIS Desktop 10.8.2 and Common Spatial Data Infrastructure To maintain, support and optimise Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Always On availability group; To maintain, support and deploy application on Red Hat OpenShift v4.12 or above To maintain, support and monitor the VPN connection built in H3C SecPath F100-C-G3 Firewall; To provide effective and quality IT professional service to end users; and To work irregular hours if necessary. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 8.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 4.0 Requirements University Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent; Minimum 8 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 4 years in Systems Analyst role; Rich hand-on experience in application development and design; Sufficient experience in Geographic Information System, e.g. Esri ArcMap; Independent, proactive and able to work under pressure; Good analytical, problem solving and strong communication skills; Good command of both English and Chinese, especially in Putonghua is highly appreciated; Good team worker, strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Experience in managing IT project; Experience in management of service contracts, coordinating large-scale rollout activities, tender preparation and familiar with Governmental IT procurement procedure are preferred; and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent would be an advantage. Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 4 years' experience in Geographic Information System (GIS); . At least 3 years' experience in .Net Development (NDE); . At least 3 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB). Non-technical Skill: . At least 3 years' experience in managing Government projects (MGP). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
