(T26) - Perform on-going support for the OA services and lead the PC Helpdesk team in LCSD
- Support upgrade / enhancement projects for Government Office Automation (GOA) System
- Support the rollout of CMMP in LCSD

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD;
- Provide technical support related to the desktop PC platform in LCSD
- Lead/ guide/ monitor SITAs/ ITAs/ resident contractor staff on daily VIP/ PC Helpdesk/ Networking/ Cabling/ User Account Management support operations
- Provide user support to miscellaneous/ ad-hoc events (including support for special / public / business event, Video Conference, etc) in LCSD
- Provide technical support/ consultancy to the service operation team related to the GOA platform
- Coordinate with support staff, IT users and out-sourced contractors (including Call Centre & Hardware Maintenance services) for operational matters related to desktop PC platform activities
- Participate in problem management meeting and give advice on desktop security protection / desktop management support activities
- Ad-hoc/ on-call support for urgent incidents during non-office hours may be required
- Participate in the rollout of Centrally Managed Messaging Platform (CMMP) in LCSD; and
- Undertake any ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

| Requirements |
- Degree in IT related subject
- With at least 2 years post-qualification experience in the role of Analyst Programmer
- With at least 5 years of proven and substantiated OA system support experience
- With at least 3 years solid experience in supporting the PC platform running on Microsoft platform(MS Windows 10/MS Windows 11), Internet applications, Lotus Notes Mail System (both Client-based and Web-based) and Confidential Mail System
- With at least 2 year solid technical support experience in OA PC desktop management via desktop management software (e.g. Symantec Altiris, BMC Remedy or IBM Tivoli, etc.)
- With at least 2 year solid technical support experience in desktop security protection via endpoint Security Protection product (e.g. Symantec Endpoint Protection, Trend Micro OfficeScan, etc.)
- Familiar with Microsoft products; and
- Experience on rollout of Centrally Managed Messaging Platform (CMMP) is preferred.
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in Anti-Virus Technology (AVT);
. At least 2 years' experience in Confidential Mail System (CMS);
. At least 2 years' experience in Lotus Notes Mail Admin. & Technical Support (LNM);
. 1 year's experience in Office Automation (OAN) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 2 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT);
. At least 1 year's experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 5 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
