| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD;
Involve in planning, evaluation, management and acceptance for implementation of new and upgrade projects
Perform production support for Linux and Windows platforms
Perform production support for system monitoring tool and password management software
Liaise with users and vendors for requirement study, implementation and support activities
Prepare technical specification and evaluation for new or upgrade projects
Perform technical trouble-shooting
Participate in IT security assessment and audit exercise
Perform on-call technical support and other duties as required
Work irregular hours if necessary

| Requirements |
University Degree Holder
Level 3 or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or 'Grade C' or above in English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007, or equivalent is preferable
At least 3 years solid experience in management and implementation on IT project related to system related tasks and matters
At least 3 years of solid working experience in IT production and technical support
At least 3 years of solid experience in providing technical support on server virtualization
At least 3 years of solid experience in Microsoft SQL Server
At least 3 years of solid experience in administration of Windows server and Linux platform
Strong and independent analytical, problem-solving skills
Proficient in both spoken and written English and Cantonese
At least 1 year working experience in PRTG network monitoring software is preferable
At least 1 year of working experience in administration of Oracle Database and SAN is preferable
At least 1 year of working experience in IT Security and Microsoft Active Directory is preferable
At least 1 year of working experience in ManageEngine products (including Endpoint Management Desktop Central, OpManager, Eventlog Analyzer and PAM360) is preferable
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN);
. At least 3 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS);
. At least 3 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. At least 3 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12);
. 1 year's experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Storage Area Network (SAN) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in project management (PRM);
. 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
