| Project Nature |
(T26) - Provide support for Shared Platforms including Windows and File sharing platforms
- Provide technical support for project implementation and system enhancement, including Windows & SQL server upgrade and OpenShift upgrade
- Project support for Shared Platforms including the Enhancement of Server Infrastructure Security for Threat Detection Capability Improvement, Implementation of Container Application for eTree Project and Implementation of Container Shared Platform

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD;
- Provide production support for multiple systems running on Windows Shared Platform and Container Infrastructure
- Play a leading role in planning, evaluation, management and acceptance for implementation of new infrastructure projects
- Liaise with users and vendors for requirements study, implementation and on-going support activities
- Involve in planning, evaluation, management and acceptance for implementation of new and upgrade projects
- Prepare technical specification and evaluation report for new or upgrade projects
- Study and solve technical problems in the infrastructure services
- Study and handle the IT security risk findings from various assessment and audit exercises
- Perform on-call technical support and other duties as required
- Work irregular hours if necessary
- Ad-hoc/ on-call support for urgent incidents during non-office hours may be required
- Undertake any ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

| Requirements |
- University Degree Holder
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Cantonese
- At least 4 years solid experience in implementation of IT project
- At least 4 years of solid working experience in IT production and technical support
- At least 4 years of solid working experience in providing technical support on Windows platforms
- At least 4 years of solid working experience in providing technical support and administration on server virtualization, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL Server
- At least 4 years of solid working experience in providing technical support and administration on Container infrastructure
- At least 2 years of working experience in providing technical support and administration on SAN and Backup operation is preferable
- At least 2 years of working experience in providing technical support and administration on Microsoft Internet Information Services is preferable
- At least 2 years of working experience in IT Security is preferable
- At least 2 years of working experience in Management and Support of Government Systems & Services is perferable
- At least 2 years of working experience in Government Project Management is preferable
Technical Skills:
. At least 4 years' experience in MySQL (MSQ);
. At least 4 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS);
. At least 4 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. At least 4 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12);
. 2 years' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in System Backup Operation (BKO) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in Microsoft Internet Information Services (MIS) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. 2 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in project management (PRM) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
