| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD;
Provide system support services to the existing Integrated Library Systems (ILS) in Hong Kong Public Libraries
Provide system support services to the sub-systems of ILS
Provide IT support and advice for renovation work in branch libraries
Carry out system development activities to develop and maintain computer programs, conduct testing and data conversion, provide end-user support/training and perform system documentation;
Provide on-going support to IT systems and implement system enhancements upon user requests;
Co-ordinate users and stakeholders of projects and/or systems assigned;
Assist in preparing documents for system implementation and maintenance;
Work under supervision of System Analyst and Analyst/Programmer to carry out system implementation and system maintenance tasks assigned;
Provide on-call support for urgent production system incidents during non-office hours; and
Undertake any other duties assigned by supervisors.

| Requirements |
Have an a Higher diploma / Accredited Associate degree / Bachelor degree or above in Information Technology / Computer Science or related discipline;
Good command of both English and Chinese (written and spoken);
Clear and concise communication and presentation skills;
Have good working attitude and provide good customer service to users; and
Should have knowledge on web programming development, Java and SQL.
Technical Skills:
. At least 1 year's experience in J2EE Development (JDE);
. At least 1 year's experience in PC LAN Support (PLS);
. At least 1 year's experience in Structured Query Language (SQL);
. At least 1 year's experience in UNIX (UNX);
. At least 1 year's experience in Web Programming (WEB);
. 1 year's experience in C++ (C++) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in JAVA Programming (JAV) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 1 year's post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
