Job Key No 19617 Job Title/ Category Contract Junior Programmer (Bid Ref 42177-4) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 18 Dec 2025 Contract Period 01 Feb 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (12 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Shatin Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Application system development, enhancement, maintenance and support of web-based application systems Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD; Carry out application system development life cycle activities including programming, testing, implementation and related system enhancement, maintenance and support tasks; Assist in on-going application system support and handle users' ad hoc requests; Assist in user requirement analysis and system design; Assist in activities related to privacy impact assessment and security risk assessment and audit; Prepare related system specifications and documentations, e.g. system / database design document, program specification, system manual, user manual; Participate in various types of testing, e.g. system integration test, user acceptance test, system load test, performance test; Assist users in preparing testing cases for testing the system; Assist in user co-ordination, e.g. collaboration of user comment, suggestion; Provide application and technical support to users; Provide on-call support for urgent production system incidents during non-office hours; and Undertake any other duties assigned by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 1.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements Degree in Information Technology (IT), or equivalent; Good knowledge on PC and web-based development programming languages; Possess good customer service, inter-personal, analytical and problem solving skills; Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; Good communication and presentation skills; and Good working attitude and ability to work independently and under pressure. Technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 1 year's experience in J2EE Development (JDE); . At least 1 year's experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . 1 year's experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in .NET C# (NEC) is an advantage. Non-technical Skill: . 6 months' experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 1 year's post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
