(T26) - IT Infrastructure support, maintenance and revamp for servers, networks and office automation equipment of Chinese Medicine Regulatory Office (CMRO) of Department of Health.
- Assist to manage the IT project to develop the network infrastructure of the new building of the Government Chinese Medicines Testing Institute (GCMTI).

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DH;
(a) Perform design for the revamp of network and server infrastructure;
(b) Perform technical study and evaluation so as to derive viable upgrade solutions;
(c) Supervise and monitor contractors throughout the project implementation period;
(d) Perform hand-on configuration on servers, VMs and network equipment;
(e) Participate in procurement activities including preparation of requirement specifications and evaluation of technical proposals;
(f) Monitor and ensure smooth operation of network, servers and OA equipment;
(g) Administer system maintenance activities, inventory control and contract management;
(h) Manage and maintain security of IT infrastructure;
(i) Monitor the performance of subordinates; and
(j) Any other duties assigned by supervisors.

| Requirements |
(a) Solid experience in managing hypervisor based virtual machine hosts;
(b) Solid experience in managing wired and wireless network equipments such as Huawei, H3C, Fortigate products;
(c) Solid experience in managing SAN and NAS equipment;
(d) Solid experience in Microsoft Active Directory;
(e) Solid experience in Lotus Notes and CMMP;
(f) Solid experience in network firewall administration and configuration;
(g) Experience in data centre and site preparation is essential;
(h) Experience in managing Government IT infrastructure project is essential;
(i) Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese; and
(j) Good attitude, polite and self-motivated.
Technical Skills:
. At least 4 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA);
. At least 4 years' experience in Experience in Datacentre Maintenance (DCM);
. At least 4 years' experience in Huawei VRP & Huawei Products (HAU);
. At least 4 years' experience in Network Design (NDN);
. At least 4 years' experience in Wireless Technology (WLT);
. 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in Information Security Management (ISM) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 4 years' experience in managing Government projects (MGP);
. 2 years' experience in site preparation (SPE) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
