Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the ICAC; (a) To deploy, implement and support on Servers and IT infrastructure, including but not limited mail server, file server and directory service and equipment. (b) To participate in the installation, testing and evaluation of new hardware, software and technologies; (c) To configure and support server and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security; (d) To diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix system and network problems; (e) To prepare and maintain server configuration documentation; (f) To provide project implementation and daily operations of system install and configure, testing and change request, etc; (g) To assist in the implementation and support of appropriate security controls in IT systems; (h) To undertake any other duties as assigned by his/her supervisors; and (i) Able to work under pressure. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements (a) Academic Qualification Hold an undergraduate degree awarded by a post-secondary institution, or equivalent, in computer and information technology related discipline; (b) Language Proficiency Level 2 / Grade E or above in Chinese Language and Level 2 / Grade E or above in English Language (Syllabus B before 2007) in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and fluency in spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua and in written English and Chinese. (c) Relevant field of work experience Have hands-on experience in the configuration, deployment and migration of server software and relavant IT infrastructure equipment, preferably in H3C, Huawei, SangFor and Coremail. (d) Number of years of relevant work experience Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification IT experience of which 1 year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity. (e) Other essential requirements - at least 1 year' experience in server software administration, preferably on Sangfor HCI. Preference will be given to those candidates with professional qualifications such as Sangfor HCI or other server administration certification. Technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in Linux System Administration (LIN); . 1 year's experience in Network & System Management (NSM) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Storage Area Network (SAN) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT Security Scanning Tools (SST) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Technical Architectural Support (TAS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Wireless/mobile Email solution (WME) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in System Backup Operation (BKO) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Information Security Management (ISM) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
