Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the CSD; The proposed staff shall take a management role of facilitating the system implementation and maintenance tasks. Job duties include but not limited to the followings: - (a) To manage the implementation of IT projects including IT Security Risk Assessment and Audit, upgrade of office automation workstations and Thematic Inspection to IT Systems; (b) To provide technical advisory support for the existing IT systems, including acquisition of Departmental Wide Area Network service and Video Conferencing Infrastructure System; (c) To act as IT advisor in the Maintenance Boards of the production systems, provide technical impact assessment and support business users to perform business analysis in response to change requests; (d) To manage the technical design, system configuration, implementation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure in respect of network, servers, storage and desktop workstations; (e) To ensure the availability, performance and security of the IT infrastructure meeting the government standards and service levels; and (f) To manage the upgrade of hardware and software in use as appropriate for the production systems in pace with the technology updates and trends in respect of security, versioning and compatibility. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 10.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 4.0 Requirements (a) Experience in supporting the management of outsourced IT implementation projects and system maintenance; (b) Familiar with Government policies/ procedures, such as IT Baseline Security Policy, system Development Life Cycle and Stores and Procurement Procedures. (c) Good communication and skills, both written and verbal, in Chinese or English, preference given to those good at both; (d) Self-motivated, independent, diligent, polite, pro-active, fast-learning and good team player; (e) Working at the remote correctional facilities for provision of support services as and when required; and (f) Undergoing integrity check by HKPF is required. Technical Skills: . At least 7 years' experience in PRINCE (PRE); . At least 7 years' experience in SSADM (SDM); . At least 3 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 3 years' experience in Function Point Analysis (FPA); . At least 3 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB); . 1 year's experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SAA) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 7 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 7 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS); . At least 7 years' experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT); . At least 7 years' experience in IT procurement (PRO). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 10 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
