(T26) To provide technical support for the provisioning of computer equipment in relation to the Next Generation Smart Identity Card System (SMARTICS-2) of Immigration Department (IMMD) in supporting the Huanggang Redevelopment Project and the production support for the system infrastructure of iAM Smart Checking System.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the ImmD;
The requested staff will be assigned to the project team to provide technical support for the redeployment of computer equipment, server and network equipment to support the Huanggang Redevelopment Project and to provide technical support to the system infrastructure of iAM Smart Checking System.
He/she is required to work as Analyst/Programmer to provide support for Systems Analyst / Assistant Systems Manager / Systems Manager to conduct the following activities:
(a) Provide support in redeployment of computer equipment for Huanggang Redevelopment Project, including system installation, configuration, testing, acceptance and maintenance;
(b) Provide daily production support to SMARTICS-2 and iAM Smart Checking System and assist in resolving problems;
(c) Assist in reviewing and maintain inventory records for both hardware, software and miscellaneous items for SMARTICS-2 and iAM Smart Checking System;
(d) Assist in monitoring and examination of contractor's work to deliver solutions as per schedule;
(e) Assist in system configuration, problem diagnosis and resolution, system maintenance and security control;
(f) Provide support to production systems as well as other production maintenance matters;
(g) Provide round-the-clock on-call technical support; and
(h) Any other duties as may be required.

| Requirements |
- Criminal record check is required.
- Experience in system support of IT infrastructure supporting mission critical system and management of outsourcing contractors is required.
- Good knowledge in Windows server, UNIX server, VMware and networking is a must.
- The Contract Staff normally work in ImmD HQ at Tseung Kwan O and occasionally provide support at various Immigration offices and Immigration control points including Shenzhen and Guangdong Province.
Technical Skills:
. At least 4 years' experience in Networking (NET);
. At least 4 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM);
. At least 4 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. At least 4 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
