Project Nature (T26) To provide network, server, infrastructure and mobile device support for the Department, and to manage IT projects covering new and existing systems.
Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the FSD;
1. To provide network, server and infrastructure support, including installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting;
2. To manage and support the departmental email services which includes both Centrally Managed Messaging Platform (CMMP) services and services provided by on-premise mail servers;
3. To collaborate with ICT teammates, the outsourced contractors and DPO counterparts to upgrade the on-premise Lotus Domino mail servers and the centralised email archive system;
4. To implement various IT projects and participate in all stages of project lifecycle including: requirement gathering, system analysis and design (SA&D), procurement, data preparation and migration, system acceptance and UAT, system rollout, documentation, on-going maintenance;
5. To monitor the project progress and perform quality assurance on the work of outsourced contractors;
6. To monitor and fine-tune the performance of application, network and servers;
7. To provide technical and operational support to users on IT facilities, including PCs and mobile phones;
8. To prepare technical specifications and evaluate IT products (including hardware, software and devices) during procurement;
9. To participate in testing and trial use of new IT products and solutions;
10. To develop and maintain housekeeping jobs for security control, system monitoring and health check, system and data backup, etc.;
11. To work with ICT teammates to provide helpdesk support services to users;
12. To be able to work under pressure and willing to work overtime if required; and
13. To provide on-call technical support duties and perform overtime work, including work outside of normal office hours, on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, as and when necessary and upon the request of the Government Representative.

Requirements 1. At least four (4) years post-qualification information technology experience of which at least two (2) years working experience in related area;
2. Experience in system design, implementation, integration, upgrade and/or migration;
3. Experience in administration and monitoring of outsourced projects;
4. Hands-on experience in supporting enterprise network and infrastructure systems such as email system, file servers, endpoint detection and response (EDR), mobile device management, Active Directory, authentication system, and/or system monitoring;
5. Experience with enterprise IT management and monitoring tools (e.g. server and network monitoring, helpdesk / service desk, identity and access management);
6. Experience with mobile device operating systems (such as iOS, Android and HarmonyOS);
7. Preference will be given to candidates with working experience in Centrally Managed Messaging Platform (CMMP), Government Communication Network, and/or Government Cloud environments;
8. Familiarity with security controls, backup procedures, housekeeping jobs and related operational controls for enterprise systems;
9. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and with users and contractors; and
10. Good written Chinese and English, and fluent spoken Cantonese and English.

Technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in Lotus Notes Mail Admin. & Technical Support (LNM);
. At least 1 year's experience in Confidential Mail System (CMS);
. At least 6 months' experience in Domino and Lotus Script (DLS);
. At least 6 months' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA);
. At least 6 months' experience in Lotus Notes Administration & Technical Support (LON);
. At least 6 months' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
. At least 6 months' experience in Networking (NET);
. 2 years' experience in Wireless/mobile Email solution (WME) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Mobile / Wireless Communication (MWC) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Authentication Server (AUS) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Anti-Virus Technology (AVT) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS);
. At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. 2 years' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in project management (PRM) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in site preparation (SPE) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in software testing (STM) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
